Keith's Bridge Park is off of Keiths Bridge Road which crosses Hyw 400 in Cummings going east to Gainesville. It is a day use lake side park which has a boat ramp, public beach and several private beach areas along with a number of picknic tables. It also has public restroom facilities and ample parking.

KeithsBridge_beach The public beach area has a wide grass and sand area for visitors. The swimming area is well marked with restrooms close to the beach. Lifeguards are not on-duty so familys need to keep an eye on the children.

A short distance from the boat launch area, there are plenty of picnic tables close by that include grills.

A short stroll from the public beach area you can find several private beach areas with sandy beaches. Often boats will pull up to the shore to take advantage of the picnic tables and grills, and to enjoy the sandy beaches too.

Since the lakeside park is a day use area, you will find families anytime during the week enjoying the facilities. The park is well maintained with many picnic sites close to the lake providing beautiful lake vistas to enjoy. The park is a first come/first serve area without any fees.

KeithsBridge_picnic2 Many of the picnic tables are handycap accessable. The road and parki8ng areas are paved and most of the tables have concrete foot paths. There are many side trails leading to the lakeside. You will find many people fishing and enjoying walks.

Over the past few years the park has improved the facilities. You will see that upgraded public restrooms have a solar panel array for ventalation fans.

  • Regina Benson  - Great place
If only I could walk to the picnic areas.
  • MJ Parks  - Is a permit needed?
My father lives at Bridgewater (a block from the park). He takes his walks at the park and has told me that he was approached by someone that told him he needed a permit to be in the park. Is this correct? He is quite upset about this (he's 85 yrs. old).
Your web page shows "no fees". However, if a permit is now needed, I am trying to help him so if you could please send me any info you have along with a contact number if a permit is needed. Your help is appreciated.

The Army Corp of Engineers manage many of the parks at Lake Lanier. Some are county parks and a few are run by the local cities. The fee requirements change over time. Each park has a notice board for rules and regulations. This is your best place to get the latest information. This website does not operate any of the parks, but we do update the information based on those notice boards. Generally, there will be a fee box as you drive into the park or you would find it located at the notice board.
