 Charleston Park is a day use park with facilities. It has a panoramic view of the lakeside which adds to it's beauty. There are a number of picnic tables with grills.
There are three boat ramps available which speeds up the process of launching boats on a busy day. The park also includes a docking facility for loading and unloading passengers.
At the top end of the boat launch area is an excellent restroom facility. The park also contains many picnic areas for both the casual local visitor and those using the launching facilities.
Picnic tables include grills and are available on a first come, first serve basis. During the summer months this is a busy park.
A lakeside dock allows boats to load and unload as needed. Three ramps speed ther  process of getting boats in and out of the water. There is a fee for parking trailers. Many boats will simply nose into shore and tie off to make use of the picnic facilities. Park users fish and swim in this same area. There is no official beach area.
The restroom facilities are some of the nicest on the lake. There are wide grassy areas for family sports.
