Springtime at Lake Lanier

As the weather warms, the signs of Spring are everywhere! Color returns to the lake banks as trees begin to flower and flowers spring up along the banks. Many of the park boatramps are filled with parked cars and trailers as fishing expeditions begin their summer trek to the lake. With water levels high, many small coves open up broader choices of fishing spots both from boats and banks. As the days warm, fish activities increase and so does the number of people fishing. When the water temperatures begin to increase, expect to see many more jetskis and recreational boating this year. This promises to be the best recreational year we have seen in a while.
